The Scientific Way To Better Boost A Brain

In recent years and especially so in 2016, dementia among our folks have become a dinner table topic around the world. From articles appearing online in Sharp Brains, The Wall Street Journal, to our local outlets, The Straits Times and Channel News Asia, new studies and results have been highlighted and initiatives launched.

In Singapore, dementia is affecting 1 in 10 of us, who are 60 years and above. We are already talking about Yishun being our first ‘dementia-friendly’ town soon and how caregivers themselves, are getting more distressed. Alarmingly, there is also a reported rise in the number of younger dementia patients over the years.

Dementia not only affects patients with declining memory and thinking skills but also their daily activities, as well as personality changes and impaired reasoning which has a direct impact on their loved ones.

What then can we do to help our ageing family members from being afflicted with it?

Attend this seminar to find out the answers to the following important areas:

1) Dementia – cause and effect; to oneself and family

2) Adult brain – processes of speed, accuracy and recording

3) Science behind our BrainFit® Senior programme

4) 5 important things that seniors must know and do to maintain an active brain
