WEBINAR #39

Executive Function III –
Managing “Weapons of Mass Distraction”

10 November 2022, Thursday
8:30pm – 9:30pm Singapore Time
Cost: Complimentary

In the previous webinars in this 3-part series on Executive Function, we explored 6 key Executive Function skills and how to best develop them through the different ages.

In this third and final webinar of the series, we will discuss the challenges of having “weapons of mass distraction” ie. devices and screen time, in our children’s lives and realistic strategies to manage them.

In our children’s heavily-wired world, technology forms an integral part of their lives, aiding in their school learning and connecting them with the global world. Yet, most children lack the self-management skills needed to manage their devices, which are also potent sources of addictive entertainment or constant distraction.

There are no easy answers to this increasing challenge but experts have offered strategies to help parents get to the root of managing these “weapons of mass distraction”. Join us in this webinar as we explore these strategies and help our children better manage these potent tools they hold in their hands.

Attend this webinar to:

  • Learn about the impact of screen time and device-use on Executive Function Skills in the brain
  • Understand how different screen content affects children in different ways
  • Uncover strategies that can get to the root of managing these “weapons of mass distraction” in your child
